Discussion topic: Broadband cutting out when incoming call comes in.

When I'm on the internet and see the telephone light on the sky hub flashing the internet disconnects. Once the light stops flashing it reconnects. There is no phone connected to the input anyway. Since we use mobiles. How can I stop this from happening. Please advise. Mr David Lawson

@David74 Are you still using a filter or does your broadband plug into the phone socket on the wall?

It's full fibre, so Cat 5 straight from the modem to the hub and that's it.

@David74Is the ONT lights changing at all is the LOS light on?

ONT lights fine, with 3 green lights on, as they should be. I know straight away when the connecton will cut, because the voice light on the sky hub starts to flash. I get reconnection just before it stops flashing.

@David74 Did the last time this happened was 6 days ago or does the voice light going out happened during this period?

The voice light remains a still green on the hub. Only when there is an incoming call it flashes. I know this is normal, but it should not disconnect the Internet. Like I say there's not even a phone connected to the back of the hub.

@David74 An incomming voice call should not make the voice light flash at all. How is the router connected to the phone line or are you full fibre?

No.. There is no phone connected at all. We use mobiles.

@David74 How would you know that there is an incoming call if you have no phone attached or is this an incoming call on your mobile?
