Hi all , I have had my Sky TV for a week now and it's all been fine. I had Sky broadband installed today and have connected all my devices apart from the Sky Q box.
I am following the onscreen instructions and I just get the message " Unsuccessful connection. Please try again . I have tried several times . Does anyone have any ideas of what might help please ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@VicGib I assume you are using the wps button on the new hub when you are trying to connect as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-sky-q-connect-to-sky-hub
If so and the hub is not connecting your Q box maybe too far from the hub. Sky will provide you with a booster if you ask them BUT if you have a Sky Q mini box closer to the hub try connecting that first then try connecting the main Q box to that. The order doesn't matter just the distance.

I have tried all of the suggestions. The Q box is still not connecting. All other devices have connected no problems. I have tried entering the password manually the Q box does show the network but still won't connect . The Q box has been connected to virgin Wi Fi for the last week with no problems . Very frustrating that the box will just not connect .
Is there anyone that can escalate my problems to sky please . I feel I have spent far too much time on this already and I don't want to be messing around with brand new equipment when I don't know what I'm really doing ! Many thanks 😊

I have retried again a few times this morning and it has now connected fingers crossed it stays that way !!
