Hi , could someone tell me why I need an engineer to set up my broadband , I have a new open reach WiFi/phone line , surely it can be connected remotely with a press of a button 🤷🏼♀️

Its a green roadside cabinet somewhere between your exchange and house where fibre terminates and reverts to a copper line

So I'm guessing I have to wait another week for my broadband to be activated , I have just received my glass tv and sky hub , I have no internet connection now as the old connection has been terminated , the stress 🥴🥴🫢

When is your activation date?
What does it say on your orders on your sky account?

Well ... I have an engineer visit to install open reach connection (which I have ) on the 5th of august and also An engineer to activate my account remotely but no activation date specified ... so a little confused I'm guessing they are waiting for line to be installed (which I already have and less than a year old ) , many thanks for your help ...
