Broadband activation date for upgrade on router
Hi,
I have just upgraded my router. All the literature says dont connect before activation date.
As I already have broadband - does it need to be activated. According to the bill, I have already been charged for the upgrade. But I have no 'activation date' for this router.
Do I still need an activation date? IF i do where is it? I have checked my My Sky app, my emails and the router box.
What happens if I just plug it in??
Thanks
TMW

Re: Broadband activation date for upgrade on router
The old model is an SR203.
The new model is SR213.
My package is now WiFi Max (not sure what it was before)

Re: Broadband activation date for upgrade on router
I have found something in the previous bills section...
it tells me my sky broadband boost has been cancelled and I now have sky wifi max.
It says I can access content immediately.
I assume that means no activation date.
I will try the new router tomorrow.....

Re: Broadband activation date for upgrade on router
@TMW Yes that the new router should work out of the box with no activation date it can be installed. What model of router do you have installed just now?
