Broadband access down - Orange Voice light on router

We experience random drops in Broadband due to the well publicised topic (many discussion threads on this) of the Orange Voice light on the router.  I work from home and this is extremely infuriating.

This is especially concerning as we were recently on holiday and because of this issue I had no access to our home security system or Ring doorbell, which has potential insurance implications as the system was inoperable.

There is no way to remotely fix this issue (router has to be physically power cycled), and as mentioned is now a common probelm with no obvious resolution - can this issue be clarified as being investigated?

Or, If i remove the voice service (remove the home phone as we don;t use it) would that fix this?
