You likely have a fault on the twisted pair to the FTTC cabinet, unfortunately, getting it fixed will be difficult and Sky may say the best course of action is to upgrade to full-fibre!
Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). SAT> IP (Apple 4K 2nd gen TV to LG C1 OLED UHD TV/Dolby Atmos Denon AVR, DacMagic Plus for Hi-Res audio), hosting own blog/forum (cluster), OPNsense & Zenarmor L4/L7 NGFW & DPI IDS/IPS, Asus ET12 Pro Tri-Band wifi, Linux, Gamer: Xbox Series X/i7 laptop, round-robin DNS over HTTPS, non-proprietary VoIP HD AMR-WB (G.722.2) and more... Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.

Re: Broadband Speed not as stated by Sky
@GuyandNikki as explained it is probably a coincidence certainly there is no evidence Sky throttle connections to encourage switching. However if you have access to full fibre it is worth upgrading as the connection will be faster if you stick with the 75Mb/s Superfast product you will get the full speed as full fibre has no appreciable speed loss between the exchange and your hub. Also you maybe able to get a lower price or get a higher speed if you upgade.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Are Sky throttling their existing customers as a ploy to get them to upgrade?
No: broadband provision is a regulated industry and an ISP wouldn't expect to be able to get away with that even if they were tempted.

Re: Broadband Speed not as stated by Sky
Sky say that I am still getting my guaranteed speed, however I have done multiple controlled tests using speed checks with wired and wireless connections and I can assure you the speed is certainly not what your stating.
Funny! You're encouraging me to upgrade which is exactly the type of sales ploy that I was implying!

Re: Broadband Speed not as stated by Sky
@GuyandNikki No one who has replied to you here is employed by Sky, so no sales ploy is being used it just makes sense to move to full fibre if its available as it far more reliable.
If Sky have run tests that show your router is connecting to the cabinet/exchange at a speed that is above the minimum guarantee then they will do nothing, the speed to your devices is not covered by that guarantee as there are far to many variables for that to be possible,
