I have broadband shield active. For devices connected via WiFi, a web address I have blocked is correctly unreachable.
For devices connected via a Google Nest mesh network I have connected to a network port on the router, the shield does not take effect.
Is this correct behaviour.
Thx

Find out more@ABJR if the Nest is set up in Router mode it will probably be sending what are known as DNS calls to Google's public DNS bypassing the Broadband Shield. If you can if you set the DNS on the Nest system to 192.168.0.1 which is the IP address of the Sky hub it should route to the Broadband Shield. Alternstively configure the Nest in Access Point mode

Chrisee - you are a star! Thank you. All fixed.
when I went to the Nest DNS settings as well as a Custom option it had an "ISP" setting and that has worked. Brilliant - peace of mind. Thank you.
