If you are still getting problems, it would appear that there has been a factory reset of the router ID's and passwords.
My Internet was accessible by wired lan connection, but not Wi-Fi thought My sky app reporting good wifi.
It's now connecting using the ID and password on the back of the router, which I'd previously changed.

Hi, anyone on here from North Cornwall?
I've had an outage since Tuesday 19th and Sky just tell me there's an outage.
booked two openreach engineers and neither arrived and I've had zero explanation other than the outage.
I have no idea where the issue is situated but my friend (literally 15 houses up the street) still has internet but he's with a different service.
Can anyone please explain.

@MotoGPVale46 @Sounds like this isn't related to the topic in this thread sadly

I'm seriously thinking of leaving sky, broadband dropping out at least twice a day. Back to virgin!!!!

Having the same issues here in hertfordshire, no internet from around 8pm last night, router keeps trying to connect then would only to drop out again. Now it's not even trying.,

Is exactly what the topic is. Skys current outage across the uk.
Whats wrong with my post exactly?

I was with virgin and had no issues, then moved to Sky when I got a Sky Glass Tv, big mistake. Same with mobile, moved from EE to sky, another big mistake.

You indicated your outage goes back to Tuesday 19th, while this thread is mostly from yesterday (Saturday 23rd) and probably Storm Bert-related. Doesn't mean your post was 'wrong', just that it's likely to be a different cause.

Think MotoGPVale46 is suffering similar issues albeit a different (earlier) date. The South West suffered bad weather from Monday/Tuesday so they got the problems first., that's my opinion anyway. For the 21st century the mobile infrastructures are using late 20th century technological solutions. And they (the Govt) are pushing the public to use SMART technology which can't cope with Mother Nature.

Well I'm sorry for jumping onto a topic about outages when my OUTAGE started days before the op's did. I didn't realise I wasn't allowed to ask questions and get involved.
I shall now leave and watch some Netflix.
OH WAIT ...... I still have an OUTAGE!
