Hi guys, so I asked on Twitter where my broadband order was, it was supposed to be up and running for 6th June yet I have not yet recieved any equipment etc. Was told to come and ask here.. a bit of an od way of doing business but I don't want to spend an hour on hold on the phone to Sky. Not the best start as a new customer, is this usually how Sky operate?

When did you place the order?
Did you subscribe online, via any of the sky numbers or thru the likes of money saving expert

Hi, @P26BOW.
You can track any orders by logging into your MySky website or mobile App and in the account profile, a drop-down menu should appear stating My Orders.
Otherwise, to discuss your issue further it would be best to call sky on 150 from your landline or
zero three three three seven five nine one zero one eight from any other phone.

Nothing showing in my orders. Gave in and called Sky yesterday. Was given some story about BT cancelling our line when I cancelled broadband with them. Was told it would be on by today however Sky haven't even sent a router to me yet. Awful service (if you can call it that) so far. Beginning to think coming back to Sky was a huge mistake. How do I cancel and get a refund so I don't have to hear any more lies from Sky?

If the broadband contact hasn't started or you are within 30 days after starting it then you have the right to cancel the contract without penalty under the distance selling scheme. You will need to contact Sky directly to arrange for the cancellation, usually by phone is the best way.

Will that mean another 45 minutes on hold on the phone to Sky to do it then?

If you call early in the day or late at night the phones are less busy...
