Anyone else cancelled broadband due to price hike and Sky try to charge early termination within agreed cancellation time?

Find out more@mickeydripping it is something we see.reported frequently and as Sky contracts are written you have 30 days from notification of the price increase to cancel. If you believe Sky are not following the correct procedure raise a formal complaint. If you and Sky cannot agree the complaint can go to independent arbitrstion. See How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com

Thank you Chrisee,
I did just that and they dispute any notes on file despite my calls to them to try and renegotiate before decididing to leave.
Ironically, I moved to NOWTV their broadband was cheaper and using the same router as Sky!
One more chance for them and if no success then ofcom it is.

Ofcom does not get involved with individual disputes: as the link which @Chrisee posted above indicates, the process goes through the ISP to deadlock and then to the appointed ADR.
