Broadband Contract - Moving to ONFL Property

I am currently locked in until late 2026 with a Sky broadband Full Fibre 500 product. We are now moving property due to family circumstances and going to a new-build where it is ONFL only and so cannot access Sky. Sky's website suggests it can provide the broadband, but it won't be able to! Couple of questions and asking for advice:

- Seethelight - is an option and actively says it is 'from Sky'. Can I transfer product to this? Maybe this is why it is suggesting it can provide the broadband?

- Early repayment charges - will these be enforced if Sky cannot provide broadband at the address? Similarly, if I moved to seethelight, which seemingly is a Sky subsidary, would the ERC be waived in this situation?

Any advice appreciated.

@whufish It's all at sky's discretion end off the day, if they waive the fee's or not. If you are moving and sky cannot supply to you with a home move it would be advisable to reachout to them first and see what options are going to be given to you!

Re: Broadband Contract - Moving to ONFL Property

Sky don't offer services over ONFL, nor is seethelight anything to do with Sky - they resell Sky Stream/TV but so do other ISPs.

You'll be held to term as its your choice to move there, so you will have to pay early repayment charges. Given Sky are losing money hand over fist (and sacking thousands of staff to cut costs) you have little to no chance of them waiving charges.

Apart from being owned by them, as 'Independent Fibre Retail Limited' ; )

Something of a historical oddity in the Sky Group portfolio: perhaps an experiment in the altnet marketplace.
