Booster not seeing internet - TV has no internet connection

The internet booster no longer shows 3 lights (only power). So downstairs has very poor internet and TV will show programmes but cannot use "apps" so cannot see iplayer etc.

 

I have tried to put booster in same room as router and will not show anything.

 

This situation is since someone from SKY helped with a hub connection problem. I didn't test the apps on that call but haven't been able to use since. Its a lot to pay for poor internet on this floor of house.

@LMS11 Link below has the booster's take a look at them and say which one you have! There are 4 so please say the name exactly as you see and matches what you have!

I have done EVERY  online help available about 20 times. The issue is not about  receiving broadband - it is fine upstairs where the router is so all SKY tests come back positive. But I had a booster downstairs and that is not working. So the signal is poor downstairs and the TV says it has no internet connection . (It shows TV but not apps like iplayer).

 

The booster is now  standing next to the router (which has all lights bright green) and still will not show a connection - even with an ethernet connection. It just has a "power" light which is green and no connection and no wifi light.

Did you try holding the reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds?

@LMS11 The link on post 2 asked you to open it and see what booster you have from sky, it is very unusal for the Wi-FI wireless light on a 3 light booster not to be on, but the booster may need a reset and a re-pair to the sky hub. Still trying to find out but the link does explain what to do. If it does not function then it may have went faulty.
