Board band reaching higher rooms

Good afternoon, I wondered if you would be able to help, apparently we have 'good' broadband but my sons always have problems with there Xbox. My friend told me yesterday that you can do a test to see if they are wearing in certain rooms and then send out a booster? Is this something you can do?

thank you

@Daniel164 you are not talking to Sky by posting in the forum but if you download a wifi analyzer app onto a phone or laptop you can check wifi signal strength yourself.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.

Ah the joy of dealing with kids online games 😁

I think my 2 boys won't complain if no food in house but issues with gaming Wi-Fi,  I will hear the screams.

My sons PC is located upstairs bedroom and always used powerline for games. I recently got him a pair of these and not heard much from boys since.
