A couple of weeks ago one of my WD NAS drives was infected with Ransomware, all file encrypted with 0xxx suffix.
Approximately 2.5tb of encrypted video and photos. I am not paying the 300 dollars as requested.
I have disabled as must as I can see in the NAS interface, I really only need to access in my own network as it holds all my plex media files.
My question is what can I setup within the sky router to restrict the NAS ability to be accessible from the Web and protect from any possible future attacks?
Many thanks in advance

Depending on what NAS you use ytou should be able to prevent external access via the internet. 1st port of call is a visit to the manufacturers website for any guides.
For example if it's the Qnap Nas you can set to private access only meaning it cannot be searched for or accessed via the WWW unless the login is known or insecure.

As I mentioned I have disabled all possible access via the Western Digital user interface, but I would like to add another layer of security if at all possible.

Find out more@Aleksandrorlov As advised the issue is with your NAS settings being breached due to insuffient security, sky hubs would only allow port blocking and I suspect that the breach on your nas was through port 80, that being access to WD's web interface alloqing the individual to add ransomware.
Port 80 is used by all websites so blocking that would stop you surfing the internet.
