Bad signal and
Over the last few weeks the internet has been playing up and the signal is extremely bad upstairs and downstairs after doing our own research we found out the modem isn't supposed to be by the window and it's in the window sill the engineers fitted it to the wall under the window with a extremely short lead and can only be placed on the windows sill what can you do to resolve this I'm not happy at all

Re: Bad signal and
@MonicaKing you can buy a longer lead to connect the Sky hub to the phone socket or ONT depending on wherher you have partial or full fibre. If you are on oartial fibre you need a dsl cable with rj11 connectors. For full fibre (the Openreach ONT has lights) you need an Ethernet cable with rj45 connecters. Both can be boughtvfrom any hardware store, supermarket or on line for a few pounds.
The ideal pisition for tge hub is as cetral in your home as possible on a surface so it is above obstructions like radiarors. Withe the dsl lead keep the length to less than 10m with ethernet the length can be up,to 100m. You do not need anything special and the colour is not important.
