BT still taking payments after switching to Sky
I've been with Sky broadband since February, I've just noticed BT (my previous internet provider) have been charging me as well every month. I've contacted Sky but I'm awaiting a response.
As I understand it Sky should have contacted BT and cancelled my service with them?

Re: BT still taking payments after switching to Sky
@Jpbell yes they should have done if your newx service is on the same line as the old BT service. Occasionally there are mistakes made but switches between BT and Sky are routine.

If you haven't already you need to contact BT and let them know of the date that you changed over to Sky so they can arranged a refund of these payments.

Re: BT still taking payments after switching to Sky
Note that if your BT subscription included BT TV or legacy BT Sport (TNT) then those wouldn't necessarily be cancelled by a broadband switch.
