Asus XT9 with Sky Gig
Hi everyone. Just thought I would let people know I bought and managed to setup the Asus XT9 Router and Node today and a big thanks to the people that posted on other threads about how to set it up. Was exactly the same as other threads said about the XT8. First impressions are great. Have the first router in my computer room attached to the Openreach ONT. WiFi speed are not far behind connecring with a eithernet cable 800-900mbps when I was only getting about 500mbps with the Sky SR203. In my living room where the node is its the same speeds. On the ground floor getting 300-400mbps with my Iphone and second floor about the same. I know those speeds are not really needed for Phones etc. but the SR203 could hardly reach my kitchen so the extra speed is a bonus with stronger WiFi through the house. Thanks for reading.

Re: Asus XT9 with Sky Gig
@Killersjp glad you got it to work and I believe it is great bit of kit but pricy as the 2 unit Asus XT9 set up is around £400
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: Asus XT9 with Sky Gig
Hi. Yes it is pricey had to work some overtime to afford it. Was really just letting others know that following the instuctions from people like yourself and others that it does work and what to expect from it. Was considering the Sky Max but that is just a ongoing extra cost for equipment you will never own.
