Are Sky Booster/Extenders better than others?

My Sky Broadband is fine but does need boosting upstairs. As I already had a TP link one from before switching to Sky we have just used that and usually but not always it is fine.  I thought I had the wifi guarantee in every room. (The house is quite small.) so would one from Sky, probably newer and possibky better specification, work better? if so is the only way to get one by telephoning? Thank you.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I do have  Sky WiFi Max but didn't realise that it was necessary to ask Sky for a booster. I must confess I thought that the Engineer would have checked the signal in rooms, as part of the installation, given that this was promised in  the deal.

@JohnLowrie

If you have Sky boost or Sky Max then yes you are entitled to boosters to increase coverage. These boosters can only be issued by Sky support staff which would be telephone or chat, hence why a chat was started with you.

@JohnLowrie

Sky like to let it settle down for a week first before a booster is introduced because sometimes adding a booster where it isnt specifically needed can actually make a system worse.
