So I've just taken a mobile contract with sky. It's been fine for the first 4 or 5 days but last night it's lost connection to the hub and won't reconnect. I've tried turning everything off and on. Forgetting network and starting again. Changing auto settings to manual in the router set up. Doing things and turning off between steps but nothing works.
ipad is ok, to is ok, everything is ok except my phone. It says it's on 5G but that won't let me do anything web based either with the Wi-Fi on or off. It's driving me nuts. Can anyone help please?

Actually a few things seem to be working but it's going to be very annoying if I have to keep switching data on and off

I've tried it auto and manual. I've always had apple products and never had an issue before

It's still the same pretty much. I can get snippets of things working but it's very patchy

I've just tried reset network settings. As long as I turn mobile data off it's better than it was. It's a definite step forward

This was a major problem for sky a couple of years ago with all apple products and i have the same issues now (probably a poor software update) I now turn wifi off and on again and its ok. The issues previously where down to moving round the house and picking up WiFi from different Q Nodes and the apple device still trying to connect to the one it was orignally connected too which had a weak signal hence not much happening.

Ok, I've found the root cause of the issue! It was a vpn I had. It wasn't connecting but I hadn't thought it would cause an issue as I've had it for a couple of years. Deleted that and suddenly my phone works! To anyone else that is having issues with iOS devices, start there
