App keep making my internet drop out on all devices

Repeated issues. Black screen with disney, Internet dropping out on all devices on paramount. Netflix forever buffering. Basically using any app causes issues and now the Internet drops out on all devices and keep needed to reset router. Updated software a few weeks ago but similar issues were experienced before for the last 6 months. Sometimes it worse.. sometimes it's ok. I can't keep resting all my sky hardware several times a day. There are serious issues with the sky software and hardware atm

@Gav29 as you have posted in the Sky Broadband forum can you post the colour of Sky hub and confirm you are talking about Sky Stream or Sky Glass. It would help if you can say what hapoens to the lights on the hub when non-Sky devices lose connectivity. See https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start

 

There have been a few similar reports in the Sky Stream forum but these appear not to affect many customers so is possibly a faulty unit rather than a firmware issue.

Most of the time the light all stay a steady green. But the Internet drops out on my mobile and on the sky box.  Occasional the middle one go off completely or goes orange. I test the Internet with my phone data through my sky logon and it says its all OK. Reset router and all OK for a short while. Soon as use an app on sky box get an issue. Ir if use my mobile phone when using an app this occasional makes the Internet drop out aswell. There no pattern to it just that it dont work anymore.

sky broadband is saying connection drop

i hsve done all troubleshooting to no avail

@Gav29 if the hub lights are green the issue is likely to be poor WiFi in your home. If your Q box is losing its internet connection then devices near it will also lose connection. It isxworth calling Sky and reporting the Q box issue as they will eithercsend you a booster or areange for an engineer to come out to check your system.
