I switched from Aquiss Broadband (FTTP) to Sky Broadband (FTTP) 500MBs today and want to use my existing router TP-Link AX1800 rather than the one provided by Sky. The router was setup with an Internet connection type of PPPoE and Aquiss provided me with the username and password.
From what I have read so far, this is not the case for Sky. Has anyone setup Sky Broadband (FTTP) with a TP-Link AX1800 or has a guide with setup instructions?
Thanks in advance.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSky UK requires DHCP Option 61 on the WAN which I believe a lot of TP-Link routers do not have.
You can sometimes get around this by using IPv6 PD but it does not work on all lines.
