Any way to tell if sky use openreach or cityfibre

Sadly, I tried to have Sky take over my existing Openreach line and they were unable to do so despite numerous phone calls. They are now only offering me a CityFibre installation. Whilst it may be possible that the policy has changed and you can ask, it does not necessarily mean that they are able to do it as the system simply refuses it.

Very unfortunate, as it means I'd have to have significant works done which would destroy the front of my driveway, so I'm most probably going to need to cancel the order.

Thanks for the update. 

I decided not to bother in the end as it was too much hassle, so I switched to Plusnet from BT.

Let's hope it's easier in 2 years time 😁
