I did an online search on support.google.com and got the following:
Your ISP isAmazon.com, Inc.also known as 'Amazon Data Services UK'.

Re: Amazon is shown as my ISP.Why and what can I do?
Where does it show that?
It may just be an old IP assignment before Sky acquired the IP set.

I unplugged for an hour. My ISP then showed as Sky. An hour later it showed as UK Dedicated Services Limited. I then meantime I had downoaded Express VPN. It's still shown as UK Dedicated Services.

Re: uggedRe: Amazon is shown as my ISP.Why and what can I do?
@Contrarian18 the way services detect things like location and even isp vary and are often pretty approximate. As posted Sky have bought in blocks if IP4 addresses from different sources and it takes a while for all of the services maintaining records to keep up. The total number of IP4 addresses is limited and the supply is nearing exhaustion with Sky every customer needs a differentvaddress hencecthe need to buy in unused addresses as the service grows. It shouldn't matter as long as the address maps to the UK and as I say different look up sites can give different results.
Using a VPN will give different results as that is one purpose of a VPN is to hide the original IP address of to the internet your traffic looks to be coming from the VPN.
