Alarm shows - LAN Link drop-out each morning

My alarm reports a LAN Link Fault problem each morning - see the last 7 days:

LAN Link Faults:

15/12/2025 03:00:41 to 06:30:44

14/12/2025 03:00:46 to 05:53:18

13/12/2025 03:00:43 to 06:00:47

12/12/2025 03:00:46 to 06:08:43

11/12/2025 03:00:36 to 06:15:31

10/12/2025 03:00:43 to 05:49:06

09/12/2025 03:23:00 to 06:15:31.

The alarm company i have used for years says it is my sky broadband, this has only happend since i upgraded to Full-Fibre

@richardm666 How does the alarm connect back to the sky Hub, when you went full fibre did you also replace the hub at the same time, and important is the hub in the same place that it was before the change relevant to were the alarm is especially if your alarm is wifi connected? Take it you had the alarm system upgraded for digital operation when you did the upgrade!

If you have a Sky Q box, it's most likely due to it entering its deep Eco Standby mode during those hours, which affects wifi and hardwired connected devices.
Access Settings: Go to your Sky Q box settings.
Find Standby Mode: Navigate to Setup, then Eco Mode or Standby Mode.
Change Setting: Switch the setting from Eco to Active (or None)

Hi JimM1, thank you for your responce. Yes they changed the router to the SR203. It is in exactly the same place as before. I have logged into the router setting and there is nothing that shuts it down at any point. Yes the alarm is set for digital comms. Thanks again. Rich.

@richardm666 Good chance when it dropped to eco mode wifi disappeared and came back up when the unit's woke up again!
