After using a Sky Max Pod I can only get good signal when connecting to 'Hidden Network'

Hello all,

Long story short I recently transferred to Sky Max with FTTP, initially I had poor signal in my office area which is furthest from the router however Sky sent me a Max Pod which some time after being plugged in halfway to the office began to work and gave me better signal.

The problem is that as of this morning its now started to behave differently in that I am back to having poor signal but now have a 'hidden network' to connect to which I have identified as the pod since I can connect to this hidden network using the ssid and password. When I connect to this hidden network a new network dubbed 'SSID2' is created and I have good signal.

I thus have to manually sign in to this hidden network every time I boot my computer.

My impression is that I should not have to do that?

When working as designed the pod should generate the same SSID as the Max Hub, and password entry shouldn't be necessary on any device which has authenticated against the Hub signal.
