Activation issue

Hi,

 

Apologies for the long post..

 

So basically I phoned sky on the 31st July as I was paying too much and years out if contract. I upgraded tv & to superfast broadband, this should of been activated on the 14th August, this didn't activate so after weeks of phoning with no updates I was told it was a ghosted order and took until the 30th August to remove the ghosted order and reorder. 

 

Reordered again on the 30th August, for activation on the 14th September, this didn't happen again and was another ghosted order, it took until the 19th October to remove this ghosted order and reorder for an activation date of the 4th Nov. My previous broadband stopped working on the 4th AM but all seemed to be going fine with the activation I got a text to say I am activated, I  plugged in my new hub and low and behold no internet, so I waited until the next day as activation can be upto midnight.

 

On the 5th still no internet so I phoned sky who told me they will send an engineer out on the 7th, sky engineer attended to tell me there is a fault on my external openreach line and coincidentally an outage in the area, the sky engineer contacted open reach whilst he was here and she said the same about the outages in the area, they said they estimate it to be fixed by 4pm in the 7th. 

 

We're on the 8th now and still nothing, I have lost all trust and promises mean nothing anymore, I would estimate I have contacted sky over 100 x and not once have they contacted me with any updated. I also raised a complaint in the 19th September and again I haven't heard nothing from that.

 

What choices do I have, if I go to another provider I assume the issue will still be there. Am I just stuck in limbo with no internet? Any suggestions or advice please because I'm on my last nerve.

You could try registering a complaint as you should be contacted about it, not sure how long they will take to do this though

@caesarome thanks I have registered another complaint and made reference to my existing complaints reference number.
