ASUS RT-BE88U Strict NAT

Hello everyone,

Hoping you can help with this one, trying to setup an Asus RT-BE88U but I can't seem to remove the Strict NAT when connecting to any games console.

My internet connection is FTTP with a 1gb connection speed.

Internet works fine but when I connect the PS5 to the router via ethernet it connects with a NAT Type 3.

Some of the things I've tried already:

1) Added the PS5 IP to the DMZ

2) Added the Sky details to the DHCP Option 61 

Are there any further settings I need to amend?

You need to tell us what your setup is. Is the Asus router connected directly to the Openreach ONT or is the Sky hub still connected and your have the Asus router connected to that?

The Asus router is connected directly to the Openreach ONT.

Its unlikely that this issue is a Sky one then, more likely a config issue on the Asus router. Do you have UPnP enabled on WAN & LAN?

Yes both are switched on.
