900 first day - Max wifi on iPhone 13 right next to the router is 550?

Just wanted to check a somethings:

  1. Is it normal to not reach top wifi speed on the first day? In the router settings it does say 'DownStream Connection Speed 9999''
  2. Should I split the bands, justy to make sure I am on the 5ghz band? Or at least have the option to connected directly to it?
  3. I connected my tv (Bravia 4k VH21) via ehternet cable to router & in the tv web browser I did a speed test and it only reached 150, again I'd expect that to have been at least 500?
  4. Bonus question - I have TP Link Powerlines AV 500's, I know download speeds can not match the stated speeds from the Powerline companies, but I am only getting 90mb using one in the room next to the new router? I was hoping of atleast 150-200 as its is a 500 unit.

@skybear

Its very unlikely to reach 900mbps+ on a WiFi connection, you would need direct ethernet for this.

Powerline adapters rarely achieve much above 100mbps so 90mbps is pretty good.

A valid speedtest would be a desktop/laptop connected via ethernet and a test run on speedtest.net

it is possible to get the max speed of the package using WiFi but you need to have compatible equipment and different speed tests will give different results

the iPhone 12 and 13 had a known issue where they supplied hardware that was limited to 550Mbps

i assume you have the new white max hub as this is the only one that supports the higher speeds, the earlier black hub is limited to 550

have you checked that your Ethernet cables are suitable to support higher speed?
the Ethernet port could be limited to older 100Mbps technology as a tv should have no need for a faster connection and the older technology is more mature and cheaper for mass manufacturing
