5ghz WiFI not connecting anymore

On Sunday my 5Ghz WIFI connection was lost and unable to connect.  Only my 2.4Ghz WIFI connection is working.   Also the speed has dropped from 400 to under 100 on a gigafast connection.

Tried all steps as advised on Sky Help which at the end was advised there is a setting problem when i called on the phone but the broadband check showed Good.  Been trying to talk to someone but keep getting referred to the virtual help and back to the same number to call which refers me back to sky.com/connections.and then back to the help steps which then leads back to the phone number again.

@KN23 the standard advice is to factory reset the hub which often clears issues. If you have a black hub press in the reset pin until the power led flashes and then release.on the newer white hubs press and hold in thecwps button until the led blinks green which takes quite a while to happen.

If after that the 5GHz band is still missing (note the reset will mean there is only one SSID if previously split) then call Sky as your hub is likely to have a fault and needs replacing. Doing the reset before calling should speed things up😀
