500 Mb/s ultrafast package hasn't delivered speed wise
Since getting my new package a couple months ago, I've not hit anywhere close to 10 Mb/s nevermind 500... I can't even download games at 100mbps... Why is this?

Re: 500 Mb/s ultrafast package hasn't delivered speed wise
@Dantao several possible reasons butvyhe most likely is poor wifi signal. Each home is different as wifi signal strength is affected by the layout and how tge home is built. Have a few brick internal walls between the hub and the device and the speeds you quote are quite likely.
If the 100Mb/s is speed over ethernet thst is most likely due to either the port on the device or the cable not supporting gigabit speeds.
While theoretically possible that the issue is with the speed to the hub given there is no speed loss between the exchange and the ONT it would be down to a configuration issue and issues like the abovr have to be positively excluded as they are massively more likely before Sky will do anything.

But at the start of this month, my speeds were double what they are right now? Currently they're at an all time low, is this simply because it's the holidays? Even so I would think the speeds should be faster for such a package when I have ethernet that can support the speeds I'm paying for?
