Re: 2.4hz not being discovered by devices
So, no device is picking up the 2.4Hz, if I disable the 5hz. I have Laptop. Phone. PC. TV.
The 5Hz issue is on some software / motion sensors used on the PC.

Re: 2.4hz not being discovered by devices
It's a new build. I've got port 4 WAN going to an open reach box.
Port 3 goes to Tado Central heating dongle.
Port 2 goes upstairs ethernet slot
Port 1 goes to downstairs ethernet slot.
Only the downstairs one is used on PS5.
Everything typical runs of the 5Hz signal on wifi

Re: 2.4hz not being discovered by devices
@Luke123-- The sky max hub transmits the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz signal using the same name jim12345 as an example. The devices connect to either frequency as required, If a 5Ghz device it will prefer to try and use the 5, if it can't it will try to fall back on the 2.4, so when you turn off the 5Ghz band then reset the hub by powering off. When powered back on and because you have disabled the 5Ghz, all the wireless wi-fi devices should connect as before but now on the lower frequency....
Are you saying that this is not happening they DO NOT reconnect?
Edit:- you also need to go read your very first opening post, what you have said is complete utter rubbish, there is NO channel 36 on a 2.4Ghz band, 1 through 15 only for 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz starts at Channel 32 onwards, think not adjustable on a max hub, but then again it is all stupid mobile app based and may only allow an auto so it could be anywhere unless your app tells you it's current setting.
You could use a free Wi-Fi analyser on your mobile, if so would recommend you look at Netspot to do so, good at showing what is going on....

Re: 2.4hz not being discovered by devices
My first message states 'Software provider mentions I need to switch to channel 36 on the 5hz'.
I'm trying to trouble shoot the software on 2.4Hz.
"Are you saying that this is not happening they DO NOT reconnect?" - yes, nothing is picking the WiFi when I disable the 5Hz.

Re: 2.4hz not being discovered by devices
@Luke123-- Then you need to go look at the devices why they are not connecting or seeing the 2.4Ghz....
In case this is just the 2.4Ghz devices thet you are trying to connect, you may wish to also fold back the WPA mode on the Sky Max hub also!

Re: 2.4hz not being discovered by devices
Yes, that's why I'm asking for suggestions. I don't know why they wouldn't connect.
