When I had BT I had no problems with the dual band 2.4 & 5G. Following all the information online and Google apparently you are able to access the router and activate 2.4G so splitting the WiFi with 5G. I was talking online to the agent and he said that this isn't possible, he asked me to hold then hung up. I need dual band and I cannot understand why Sky would not provide this service as its needed and we pay enough money for our services and this needs to be dealt with. To be honest I am sorry for leaving BT thinking that Sky would not be any problems but here straight away I'm without Internet access to my CCTV. Why would Google etc tell me it can be done then an agent telling me differently. I will leave Sky the way this is going and the bills are forever changing and increasing and they can't tell you why, 18 or 24 month new contract and its entrapment, Sky cannot provide us the service that BT offer. I will phone again tomorrow.
