Hi there,
I received an email recently offering to freeze my prices if I signed up to 145mb Ultrafast Broadband for 18 months at £31 per month.
I logged into my Sky account and click back on the link in the email. Whilst the offer price of £31 per month was displayed, it also said "Prices may change during 18month contract". Which was not reassuring as I know Sky apply RPI+ annual price adjustments.
I then logged out the website and came back later, I saw that there was an offer price of £29 per month. I then logged into my Sky account and the offer price was now £41.
I then attempted to call customer services. I was put through to the call centre in India and whilst they couldn't see the £31 that I was offered, they offered the service for me for £38! They even tried to reassure me that prices wouldnt change as they had recently been changed.
I was advised from an ex work colleague to try "Live Chat", but it looks like its just a bot as it didn't offer any route to webchat with a agent.
All I wanted to do is sign up for the £31 per month deal and lock those prices for 18months. But seeing all the different prices and caveats, I can't even be sure that is what I will get if I continued with the ordering process. And I don't have the patience with dealing with the call centre in India if they do not have access to the offer I was emailed.
Any tips on how I can reach someone who would be able to help me?
Cheers,
Chris
