First, connect to your Router settings page;
- Make sure you're connected to your home broadband network
- Open your Internet browser
- In the address bar type 192.168.0.1 and click enter.
- When prompted enter the;
- username: admin
- password: sky or, your WIFI password (case sensitive)
Now you're logged in;
- Select Wireless Settings, Setup or Wireless depending on your router type
- Scroll down to Security Settings
- Change your password (case sensitive) and click Apply.
Things to consider
Once you've changed the password, all wireless devices will be removed from the network until you've manually entered the new password. If you can, I recommend connecting with an ethernet cable when first making the change.
TIP: If you want to return your Sky Hub to factory settings, press and hold the reset button on the back of the Sky Hub until the power light flashes on and off four times then remains on. This will take approximately 10 seconds.
