First things first - make sure you're connected to your Sky Broadband network and connect to your router settings page:
-
Open your browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar
-
When prompted, enter:
-
username: admin
-
password: sky or your WiFi password (case sensitive)
-
Now you're logged in. Select 'Setup' or 'Wireless Settings'
-
Click the 'Channel' drop-down and select a number ('auto' is default)
-
Click 'Apply' to change the wireless channel
Still can't access your Sky router settings? Watch the video Change or reset your Sky WiFi password.
Note: If you have a Sky Q Hub it will constantly look for the best wireless channel automatically.
