Do you or someone you know use a telecare alarm?
If you or someone close to you relies on a telecare alarm, it’s important to let us know. Just fill in our quick online form so we can keep your details up to date. This helps make sure your alarm continues to work when landline home phones switch over to digital (Internet Calls).
Visit our help page to fill in the form here!
What’s changing?
Landline phone services are moving to digital. If your telecare alarm connects through your phone line, we want to make sure it still works after the switchover. We can check if you need:
- A new or upgraded device
- An adaptor
- A battery backup
- A mobile phone backup option
What is a telecare alarm?
Telecare (or healthcare) alarms include things like:
- Pull cords
- Panic buttons
- Pendants
- Intercom-style devices
They’re often used by older or vulnerable people to get help in an emergency. These devices usually connect to a monitoring centre through your home phone line.
