password required on phone?

I need to talk to sky about changing broadband or even leaving completely. Do I really need to give my password on phone?

Yes, when you signed up you gave a password and a backup security question to help confirm who you are

Yes. Same as you would for a chat on here with staff. It's the security password not your password for logging in.
