Channel 111 is Dave HD, rather than Gold HD - I've no idea why they've swapped arpund on your Sky box (thank you for your PM on the same subject). I'd suggest switching the box off at the plug for 4 minutes to see if it resolves.

Some HD channels add black bars at the sides of the picture to maintain the correct aspect ratio of older programmes created in 4:3 size. Later programmes shot in 16:9 don't need the bars and fill the screen.

If you want to watch a stretched picture which fills the screen, watch in SD, or use your TV's zoom control.
