Very disappointed again that the Test match isn't being broadcast in UHD. Why should The Hundred competition take preference over the Test Matches ?...Not good enough in my opinion. I have a Sky Q 2TB box and have explored all avenues to obtain UHD but to no avail.☹️

Find out more@Graham6012 As already explained Sky can only broadcast 2 sports per day as they only have 2 UHD transponders, until such time that the encoders improve to allow Sky to squeeze more UHD channels onto one transponder then I'm afraid we are stuck with what we have.
Transponders cost money, unless you want your subs to be increased?

Same today (Sunday) no UHD!
Test cricket considered the highest form of the game and should get priority for UHD. The Premier league have got 10 months of UHD ahead, the cricket season only another month. Very poor from SKY.

@Graham6012 If Sky had decided to broadcast the Test in UHD, this forum would no doubt have been inundated with posts from disgruntled fans of The Hundred. Sky are in a no win situation. They can't please all of the viewers all of the time.

@kay1963 I understand your frustration, however Premier League football is what drives Sky Sports Subscriptions so it will always take priority on UHD.
the question that needs answering is why the Hundred gets priority over Test Cricket.

To get UHD in SKY sports, you also need a Cinema subscription apparently.
What's that about??

I don't believe the mention of SKY Sports & SKY Cinema in that link is meaning you must have both to be able to watch in UHD - just Cinema to watch movies or Sports to watch sports
I am sure there are many that have SKY Sports only that can watch in UHD and likewise many who can watch movies in UHD without Sports (as I did before I upgraded to the full package)
