I'd be intrigued to know what the uptake of HDR actually is. I suspect that the vast majority of Sky Q customers are actually pretty clueless about it, much like many of Sky's advisers and installers in fact.

I managed to get transferred to the "Business Continuity" department.  The agent there was able to check my account and noticed that it had my Box marked as HDR Capable but the hardware number was showing 32B064.  So he said he'd have to get the back office team to correct this and then he'd issue another replacement.

I can only assume he did that a little earlier today, as I got email saying a replacement box is on its way

FInally success. I took delivery of a "band new" Sky Q 2TB V3 box today (32B2XX, black trim, no external power brick). It was still on software version Q140 so had to updated it mannually.  Tested on Eurosport 4K and comes up on my TV as sweet sweet HDR HLG.

Not sure what I did to get this sorted but happy to finally have the correct box.  FYI I also managed to get a £50 credit applied to my account, meaning I bagged this upgrade for free.

Fingers crossed everyone else manages to get their upgrades sorted soon.

Just an update 😞 I'm very annoyed and thats putting it politely.

Not only have I now received a Non HDR Box, its also a Non UHD Box 😞 Hardware Version 32C006.

I'm back on the phone to Sky now, an absolute shambles to say the least 😞

@Barry+Mc+Kelvey i'd be wanting the money refunded and an hdr box for free.  I must have been lucky when I got my hdr 1tb box on Monday.  I got my money refunded and the box for free due to the inconvenience caused by receiving old boxes.

I'm just off the phone from Sky, I spoke with a guy who was ver apologetic and could see that it was a bit of a mess.

He said that he could 100% confirm that I would be getting a Sky Q 2TB UHD HDR Box delivered tomorrow by DPD. He also said that I would be refunded the one off £50.00 charge in 3-5 working days. I wasn't refunded the one off charge of £25.00 for yesterdays order. I guess if I get a Sky Q 2TB UHD HDR Box tomorrow, I've still svaed £25.00.

I've checked the My Package on My Sky, it now states Sky Q 2TB UHD (Awaiting Activation)

We shall see what tomorrow brings.

I was worried too, I guess it wasn't as much of a shock when thats what turned up today.

Hopefully I get a Sky Q 2TB UHD HDR from DPD tomorrow 🙂

im still awaiting an update from Sky, i have made it clear that if they dont supply me with a 2Tb HDR box i will be cancelling my contract as im still in my cooling off period...

@jan1975000Perhaps Sky should follow Amazon's example and have a skip marked destroy for V1 boxes.
