The voice control on my Sky glass tv has suddenly stopped working. It will work with the remote but not using the tv mic. Any help would be appreciated.
Sky Ultimate and whole home, Diamond VIP User

Seen others having this problem on here.
What solves it, is doing a repair of the Remote control.
Try repairing your remote as described in step 3 here;
Sky Glass remote | Sky Help | Sky.com
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).

Another thing I’ve noticed. My tv was off, in standby, and the red light was showing. I accidentally nudged the remote, not hitting any buttons, and the light went out but the screen remained black. Neither voice control would work and it took several attempts to switch on using the remote. A strange set of circumstances.

Ive noticed this too, I picked up the remote one morning without touching any buttons and the standby light went off and tv was unresponsive for a minute or so until light came back on and I could then power on tv
tbh I've noticed the standby light going off randomly when the tv is off and the tv does seem to be unresponsive during this time.

@dogmatic6 Do you think that Sky might be sending updates, in the background, and the light going off could be due to the installing process? Just a thought.

I don't think so tbh as it's random and the software version doesn't change.
I think it might be related to the motion sensors and enhanced experience even though it's all switched off on mines.
I just walked into my bedroom and the standby light went out and the little mic button light on the side lit up showing voice mic had been disabled.
30 seconds later back to normal and still in standby lol

voice control set up press the 3 buttons,which 3 buttons ,went to settings it says chooose privacy/microphone, when i open settings privacy is not there to select,looking for help please,adxise a step by step procedure that works,thanks
