VOIP Gigaset

Just bought a Gigaset SL450a GO phone. I wish to use VOIP with my SKY Ultrafast broadband router. However I am having difficulty connecting the handset. 

The software asks for:

Authentication Name

Authentication Password

Username

Display Name

Does anyone know what these terms refer to? For example which is the wifi name, password. I also have a Sky username and password to get into the SKY website. 

Any help appreciated

For a VOIP phone those details would come from a VOIP service provider.  Sky is not such a provider, although Sky Talk may be carried over VOIP using a conventional phone (or DECT basestation) from the analogue port on a Sky Broadband Hub if the subscription has been provisioned on SOGEA.  The configuration for using Sky Talk over VOIP has never been published.

@Big+Al5 Afriad you have wasted your money, Sky VOIP works via their hub and will accept a standard phone.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Thanks very helpful. I may have wasted my money on the Gigaset phone which it turns out I did not need. Such is life!
