Unauthorised payment took from my bank account
My sky contract ended in April 2021 with my final bill being taken on 25th may 2021.. all equipment returned shortly after. This morning sky have took £215 from my bank with no letter,email or text to say why this money is being took. All bills where and are paid and on 8th July 2021 sky returned £36 into my bank account as I had over paid. Could someone explain why I have had £215 took without any explanation ? I have tried to call this morning but was cut off after being on the phone for over 40min. I've also contacted my bank.

@Freddie33 We are all customers here and have no access to any accounts, therefore we are unable to tell you why the payment was taken, you will need to persist on the phone unless your post is escalated to Sky.

@Freddie33 Only Sky can explain the reasoning behind this payment. Persevere on the phone, don't hang up when prompted, if asked reason for call say 'technical' and you'll go into a queue for an agent (I got through this morning within 7 minutes). You can contact Sky through this link. The ‘Need More Help’ at the bottom of the page will provide a 0333 phone number.

@Freddie33 this does seem strange so I've escalated this to sky who hopefully will be in contact via private community message or email both of which will invite you to a private chat , so you don't have to phone if you don't want to
so look out for a blue bubble in bottom right hand corner when logged on to this thread
