Tv screen seems to go off but back on within second or two

My LG tv kept going black for a second or two, before picture comes back on. Does it randomly, but also doing the same when I turn on another plug point nearby. No electricity issue as did not happen to tv when sky not connected. I thought it was my tv, but now it seems a sky issue. Any ideas?
