System Issues as of 12/12//21

I had Sky Glass installed early October, one of the first. I have had a range of technical issues which is reported one by one on the email reporting page for Sky issues. I received weekly calls from Customer Services that were well handled, however the feedback i received only indicated the Playlist issues widely reported were known, i appeared to be on my own with the others. Well the first software update removed quite a few of them funnily enough, and the second software update removed most of the remaining issues. Again no recognition from Sky that my faults had been identified but they've surely gone! Today two faults remain that I've noticed and logged, there maybe others? The screen still freezes on ocassion, and it can only be overcome by going back to the menu and selecting that programme again. The remaining fault this week is where a programme stops and freezes the picture, rewinds itself about 10s back and replays automatically, and remains in this stuck loop rewinding continuously. I have noticed the standard of customer support has now deteriorated and it is clear from the last few calls that they have little technical knowledge about their system. I had been promised an elevation to the technical team directly for support but that fizzled out. I should add my internet speed is ultra fast at 923Mbps upload, 112Mbps download, so i know its not the quality of the broadband that's and issue and I'm ethernet connected Router to Sky Glass. My posting is to test what current issues people are seeing further to the Software update last week? I was about ready to plug my Sky+ box back in but hoping we are getting there?

We’ve had our Sky Glass since Nov. 11th and I must say that we are very happy with our system. We had one or two niggles at first but since the latest upgrade our system has been very stable. Ok, some of the displays, within apps, are disappointing but they are at resolutions that we didn’t have previously. Now that the 30 days are up I’m contemplating ripping out our satellite cables and taking the dish down. I’ve already dumped the Sky+ box.

Sky Glass 43” stand mount, Wi-fi, 1 puck, ethernet from Bt disc.
Sky Ultimate and whole home, Diamond VIP User
BT Hybrid FTTC, BT Smart Hub 2 + 1 disc

If you came from + then Glass is heaps better .

The 'upgrade' from Q is more of a Sidestep.

Best not to look at glass as an upgrade on Q.

I meant to say Sky Q.. typo on flipping phone keyboard, so a backward step for now, less flexibility and recoding remotely but I can live with that. It's now more stable and I'm about to send my Q gear back, but it's been an awful experience to the second software upgrade.
