@MartinSharpy wrote:I have exactly the same issue - signed up my elderly parents in Novemeber 2020 for a 3 year fixed price deal and now they have a £3/month hike after just 3 months of the service. How is that not miss selling or devious or similar? Ill await a response from someone here who knows.
No one here will know the specific details of the agreed contract. Sky's minimum term contracts are a fixed discount from list price for a fixed duration -the list price can (and does) change.
If their contract specifically says fixed price then Sky will have to fix it.

Hmm! That's sounds like a great plan, I want to wipe my gas, electric, water bill, council tax in fact all my bills. In fact we should all be able to do it, what do you think folks, get everything for nothing!
19 Mar 2021 11:55 AM
err yes thats what they can do. U pay a percentage of ur bill and they clear the rest.
And u can do it for gas electric and council tax u can pay a lower rate if u ring them.
The point was that I got told this about sky actually from sky advisor but advisor didn't tell me the whole story only have the information. And that makes it false and mis leading from sky.

Find out moreAs we are all customers here @Mariah1234 then is is difficult for us to say for sure what will happen but paying part of your bill might prevent from happening so if you can I would pay the rest of it as soon as you can. If your services are suspended then to restore them you would need to pay off the bill in full and setup a direct debit.

I believe your part payment would need to leave no more than £25 outstanding to avoid your services being restricted.

If it's less than £25 then my service shouldn't be restricted right
