@Jayboy1990 @I've tried the Dolby test and when is says "and this channel is the LFE" I get absolute silence. I assume you hear something on your sky glass?

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

@Ziggurat11  A lot of the videos on YouTube simply don't produce LFE sound for glass but the Dolby video does on mine.

The LFE videos on YouTube barely registered any sound on my glass, however just been watching Batman Dark Knight Rises on 4K Blu Ray and the sound is excellent. Watch the sections with Bane, you can really feel the deep bass in his voice.

Watching something good quality like this is a much better test of the sound on Glass, if it sounds good then I'd say the speakers and in particular LFE is working well.

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

I've tried lots of sound tests on glass YouTube and on Apple TV YouTube and there is no bass whatsoever , I'm hoping there's a software fix but if some people have bass and others don't I'll assume it's a unit problem not software

Somebody has had their unit replaced and still noticed no improvement so maybe check your expectations, if at all possible get to a local sky stand/store and ask them to demo the bass/sound system. You will be surprised.

m Also please do not get taken in by this 'sonic boom' **bleep** marketing campaign it's very overly egged.

I expect it to sound like a sound bar minimum expectation !!! So yea that does include bass these tv's have none

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

So what are you using to check the bass, have you played an atmos content to see if you are getting any bass?

if you are not happy then you could get the thing collected and switch back to Seperates. It's an option that sky will offer.

Yes I have checked and obviously one of the selling points was built in sound bar , and bass is a integral part of the whole Dolby atmos otherwise they would just install tv speakers

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

What also makes me think software is the fact 1 person went through some steps and got the bass working.

The Glass also is meant to select the correct sound and picture I.e music, sports and entertainment etc. I fill this is where the software issue could be.
also some getting a new Glass and same issue.

mine is a 55" and see no bass with all sizes

Thaks my thoughts
