Actually I have Sky+HD, and mentioned this in a previous post which was very unhelpfully shunted to the other forum by an "Oracle".
That said, looking at the details on the box, the software version has not changed. I mentioned the reduction in the number of adverts on the programmes which are downloading successfully (all the Christmas promos have disappeared), and have wondered at the very start of this saga whether the adverts had something to do with the fails. Time will tell; and if tomorrow I can download everything first time, then at least for Sky+HD users the problem may well be resolved (others are reporting normal download availability once again). Should be interesting to see if Sky Q users notice any improvements.

Very , very strange, I decided to attempt to record some random selection tonight in the last hour or so and everything recorded OK. I have fast forwarded through them and they look OK.
I have made no changes to my box at all. That is 6 recordings with no fault, all Sky programmes.on BT internet
I just wonder if Sky are trying a few things out now

The last one stayed on 0% for a bit (1-2mins) then flashed to 1% then back to 0% then back to 1% and came up ready to watch. The recording looks fine.

Thanks for your patience as we investigated the issues you described.
We have fixed a networking issue. Please could you re-try an On Demand title again?
If you've changed any DNS settings we'd recommend to reset them to default.

If the problem has been resolved and you have changed your DNS, Sky Q users go to Settings - Network Connection - Network Setup - Advanced Settings and change to 'Automatic'. Do this on the main box and the minis. This will reset the DNS.

Thank you looks like it's downloading now 😊. However, are Sky going to give a refund (as in cash - the same as we have been paying each month) for the month we haven't been able to use a feature we've been paying for?! I'm not interested in 'rewards' as they're never something I want.

Hi, I have SkyQ, would not download from Dec 8th, was advised to change settings to 8.8.8.8, has worked every download since doing that, what do I need to change now on my two boxes seeing as the matter has been fixed by Sky ?

The box sets add-on was about £6 a month, I think, so any potential credit would be less than that anyway.

@Mark-Br I've just reset my network settings to automatic, power cycled and successfully downloaded 2 episodes of Raised by Wolves, so at the moment everything is looking good. 👍
Interestingly, the 'Connection to internet' blipping off and on constantly from another discussion has also stopped and I have a stable internet connection again. 😊
Are we allowed to know what the issue was?

Same here - set all boxes to automatic and downloaded four episiodes of Landscapers successfully

@Mark-Br Tried resetting DNS to default, still having problems.
Tried downloading on demand box set Friday Night Dinner season 1 episodes 1, 2, 3 & 4. Episode 1 downloaded OK. Episode 2 stuck at download (146%) - confirm 146% - and episodes 3 & 4 remained queued.
Reverted to manually setting DNS and able to download OK.
Any further suggestions, please?
