Sky + wont connect to broadband router

There was a power cut today, and when the power came back on the Sky + box won't connect to the router.  It says Fail for connection and Fail for on demand.  So I have not TV at all.  Anyine got any suggestions on how to reconnect?  I've tried rebooting the router and the box a few times now, and always the same problem.  the Sky box is hard wired to the router

Thanks

Not having your Sky+ attached to a router does not affect the TV functionality, it will only affect On Demand content

If you have no TV at all then you have a bigger issue that your router not connecting

Have you power off both your router and Sky+ box, waited a couple of minutes then turn on the router, wait for it to fully power up, then power on the Sky+ box

Re: Sky + wont connect to broadband router

Just tried that. I now have regular tv though it still won't connect to the router. I don't use on demand, so I'm not going to worry about it.  I have my tv back!

Thanks
