They saying both hardware and subscription issues.it will not work or Sky says no you can't do it.

@Totalwar2 unless thst came directly from a Glass dev team member I wiould doubt it.in any case the commercial issue is probably the problem.

@Totalwar2  if you cancel a glass subscription when paying for the tv over 24/48 months you can either pay off in full or continue with the repayment plan  see cancelling glass tv section on this link

I wonder if you can have a Sky Q subscription while continuing to pay off the Glass TV though 🤔

I had my SkyQ box attached until the SkyQ service got stopped and it does work but the big problem is some of the SkyQ remote functions actually also control the TV function which makes it nigh on impossible to use the Q box

@oj01 acccording to what I underrstand you can't. Like to be proved wrong but the technicality is a red herring apart from the control issue of course.

There System will not let keep being told be fixed in a few days and we ring you back but they never do.Here I am still stuck on sky glass.

@Totalwar2 I have escalated this to Sky and hopefully they will come back to you, Private message or email, and be able to sort something out for you. Look for a blue blob bottom right of your screen.

They should log your call to cancel if they can't do it for you on the day that you called, they need to honour your original request as it is out of your control.

I called to do the same.

Was lucky, the person who answered first was really good and managed to cancel Glass and arrange a pickup with no issues. Was then put through to the Q Dept to reinstate - did have some issues here, they couldn't find my old Sky Q Account by using Sky login and postcode; I had to fish out my full account number. I was told there could be an issues that would mean 7 days to fix before Q could be switched back on - I protested but to no avail.

7 minutes later there was a call back from Sky telling me all was sorted and Q was switched back on in 2 minutes.
